Hygiene you can rely on, washroom after washroom

Mediplus Hygiene supplies the complete Satino by WEPA range across the UK — dispensers, hygienic paper, soaps and cleaners for healthcare, education, offices, hospitality and industry.

Satino HYGINITY dispensers in a washroom setting

Hygiene is the whole point

A washroom is where infection either spreads or stops. Everything in the Satino range is built around that single idea.

  • Touch only what you use. Single-sheet and centrefeed dispensing means hands contact only the sheet being taken — not the roll, not the stack, not what the last person touched.
  • Developed with microbiologists. The HYGINITY dispenser series was designed alongside microbiologists specifically to raise hygienic safety, not just to look good.
  • Proper hand drying matters. Drying with paper is the most hygienic method — there is no excessive aerosol formation, and residual moisture on skin is what lets microorganisms transfer.
  • Skin that stays healthy gets washed more. Every Satino soap is pH-neutral and dermatologically tested, so frequent hand washing doesn't damage the skin barrier.
  • Empty dispensers are a hygiene failure. Reserve-roll systems and 360° fill windows mean staff see a low dispenser before users find an empty one.

Built for infection-sensitive environments

Care homes, GP surgeries, dental practices, clinics and treatment rooms all share the same requirement: controlled, contact-minimised dispensing that holds up under heavy use and cleans down easily.

The centrefeed and single-sheet dispensers were designed for exactly these settings. Simple single-sheet removal also suits users with limited motor skills — proven in health and care.

The complete Satino HYGINITY dispenser range

One system, correctly matched

Most washroom problems come down to the wrong refill in the right dispenser. Satino codes every dispenser and every refill — JT1, JT2, JT3, MT1, BT1, CF1, CF2, PT1, PT2, PT3, SF1, SF2. Match the code and it fits. No wrong stock, no jammed dispensers, no cubicle standing empty.

Sustainable without compromising hygiene

Satino PureSoft is made from 100% recycled cardboard fibre with up to an 80% smaller ecological fibre footprint than conventional virgin fibre — and it is still soft, absorbent and dermatologically tested. GreenGrow goes further again, using miscanthus grass fibre.

Modern Slavery Statement

Draft for review — to be approved and dated by a director before publication.

This statement is made by Mediplus Hygiene in relation to the financial year ending [DATE], and sets out the steps we take to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or our supply chains.

Our business

Mediplus Hygiene is a UK supplier of professional washroom hygiene products, serving healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality and industrial customers. Our supply chain consists principally of manufacturers of hygiene paper, dispensers and cleaning products, together with logistics providers.

Our policy

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms, including forced labour, child labour, servitude and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing effective systems and controls to guard against these practices occurring anywhere in our business or supply chains.

Our supply chain

We source predominantly from established European manufacturers operating under recognised environmental and social certification schemes. Our principal supplier, WEPA Professional GmbH, manufactures the Satino by WEPA range within the European Union and holds FSC® chain-of-custody and EU Ecolabel certification — standards that carry social and labour requirements alongside environmental ones.

Due diligence

In assessing and managing risk within our supply chain we:

  • favour suppliers operating within jurisdictions with robust employment law and enforcement
  • give preference to suppliers holding recognised third-party certification covering labour standards
  • expect suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to be able to evidence this on request
  • keep supplier arrangements under review, and will not continue to trade with any supplier found to be in breach

Reporting concerns

Any employee or business partner who has concerns regarding modern slavery in our operations or supply chain is encouraged to raise them with a director. Concerns raised in good faith will be investigated and no individual will suffer detriment as a result.
